Women as agents of change<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Today we began with the 5-day advocacy workshop with women from the villages of Gadime and Shala of Lipjan, the village of Rahovica in the municipality of Ferizaj and the city of Ferizaj.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Under Erza Kurti’s facilitation, these women will learn to identify problems that women face in their municipalities and compile advocacy plans to solve these problems.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Present were also social empowerment trainers in the Kosovo – Women 4 Women organization; Zoj\u00eb Shala, Zejnepe Selimi, Gjylere Morina and Besa Canolli who have been with these women’s groups over the past ten months.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
\n
Women are important agents of change in our society – when they are empowered to deal with issues directly, the entire community is strengthened.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

This activity was organized within the project “Together Building Resilience”, funded by the UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women (UN Trust Fund).<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
