What the project did
The Together Building Resilience project was implemented by Kosova — Women 4 Women and funded by the UN Trust Fund to End Violence against Women (UNTF). It ran from May 2021 to September 2024, reaching 690 women and girls, including 120 survivors of violence, in six municipalities with a high prevalence of violence: Drenas, Lipjan, Shterpce, Skenderaj, Podujeve and Ferizaj.
The approach combined psychosocial support, economic empowerment and community awareness. Women were supported to heal and rebuild their lives, and trained as Agents of Change.
By engaging 22 civil society organisations, 30 community groups and 60 government officials, the project strengthened local mechanisms for preventing and responding to violence. The final evaluation is published on the UN Trust Fund’s official webpage.
