Today, we joyfully mark the 12th anniversary of our Women’s Opportunity Center in Kosovo. Thanks to the incredible support of Sharon Davis and the Private Equity Foundation, over 36,000 women have found support here and gaining valuable skills through our empowering programs.

Since the beginning of our operation in 1999 we have worked with:

•36.000 women who have benefited from our social and economic program since the beginning of our operation in 1999.

•164 women-owned businesses that have been supported with grants and capacity building.

•Over 1000 women who have been trained in advocacy, of which 100 are Active Agents of Change in 7 Kosovo municipalities.

•Since 2012, 1229 women have been employed with the support of the Employment Support Office.

•60 women groups have been supported in formalizing their entities in the association.

•600 men have mobilized as allies towards the empowerment of women’s rights.
