Director

Iliriana Jaka Gashi serves as the Executive Director at Kosova – Women 4 Women (K-W4W), where she manages programs that have served more than 35,000 women since 1999.

From 2011 Iliriana Gashi for almost six years has been the country director for Women for Women International in Kosovo, an organization that has been working since 1999 and whose social and economic programs have gone over 35,000 marginalized women. 

In 2017, Dr. Gashi led the transition of Women for Women International's Kosovo program to become an independent local NGO: Kosova – Women 4 Women (K-W4W). Dr. Gashi's position also changed, as she moved from being a Country Director and became the Executive Director of the NGO, where she leads and manages its operations and strategy.

Before joining Women for Women International, Dr. Gashi worked for the Canadian International Development Agency, World Vision, the French Embassy in Kosovo, the World Bank, and the American International Health Alliance (AIHA). She was also a member of the Policy and Planning Committee in Kosovo’s Ministry of Health.

Dr. Gashi is a medical doctor with a Master’s degree in Management of Health Care Administration from the University of Lausanne in Switzerland. She serves on the Board of the Network of Roma, Ashkali and Egyptian Women Organizations of Kosovo, serves as a board member of CiviKos Platform, and is a member of the Soroptimist International Club in Pristina.
